Any excuse not to exercise.



Fact of life: I am over weight.
Fact of life number 2: I need regular exercise.
Fact of life number 3: I love sleeping in the wee hours of the morning, swaddled warmly by my blanket and basking in the cool early morning crisp breeze. All of which involved not getting out of bed.

The two things seem mutually exclusive, but they aren't. Getting out for a brisk morning walk is exactly the sort of exercise my body needs. It's low intensity, good for my very out-of-shape muscles, and it's a good start for when I join a gym next year. At least I won't look like a complete dumpling on the treadmill.

But then again, I am extraordinarily lazy. In some ways of course, other ways see me working industriously like an ant. So any excuse not to get out of bed and go for a walk. Apparently, my laziness can also will my body to succumb to colds. So I have an iron-clad excuse for not emerging from bed. I am sick.

But I did. And I'm so pleased about it. Yeah for me.

Hey thats cool.. im utterly lazy myself so i take my walks in the evenings.. and i guess i have no excuse to get out of bed cause its already late during the day
