I wish I could come and visit you
I wish I could spend some time with you
I wish I could give you the most precious gift
I wish I could make all your dreams come true

But -
As we both know, I cannot do anything of the above
So, I just give you what I have
and something that would never change
I give you my friendship, give you a promise
to always be a call away when you need me
I promise you the patience
to listen to all that you need to share
I promise you the love, care and concern
so that you are sure, you won't ever be alone

Today,on this day
I give you, yet again,
Something that was always yours
I give you myself,
Heart that cares, shoulders to lean on,
Hands that would always pray for you
Ears, that will never get tired of listening to you!!!

I dont know whether Amitabh Bachhan found the time to visit your page but coming across the link while reading his blog I visited your page and I liked it. The choice of font, colour pallette, the graphics they are all nice and attractive. Loved reading the poems. Didnt quite like the short story, it is more in the M&B genre but even then there are some nice moments in the story; evidently you have the talent but need to work on that quite a lot. Lastly, you write much better poems in hindi, so can few more of those?
